Once upon a time, during a long hot summer, there were three best friends named Max, Lily, and Sam. They lived on the same street and spent every day together, finding new and exciting things to do.
One day, Max’s parents surprised him by setting up a huge water slide in their backyard. Max couldn’t believe his eyes – he had always wanted a water slide, and now he finally had one! He called his friends, Lily and Sam, over to come and play.
When they arrived, they couldn’t wait to try out the new water slide. They put on their swimsuits and ran to the top of the slide, ready to race each other to the bottom. Max went first, whooshing down the slide with a big splash. Lily and Sam followed close behind, laughing and shouting as they slid down.
After hours of playing on the slide, the friends were exhausted but still didn’t want to stop. They came up with a new game – to see who could make the biggest splash at the bottom of the slide. Each of them took turns trying to make the biggest splash possible. They splashed, jumped, and even did flips into the pool at the bottom of the slide.
As the day went on, more and more neighborhood kids came over to join in on the fun. The backyard was filled with laughter and screams of joy as everyone took turns on the water slide. The sun began to set, but no one wanted to go home. Max’s parents even brought out popsicles for everyone to enjoy.
Finally, as the stars came out, the kids reluctantly said goodbye and headed back to their own homes, tired but happy. They all agreed that this was the best summer vacation ever, thanks to Max’s awesome water slide.
